The UVO Software is terrible in its current form. Remote starting of the car is hit and miss at best.
Usually takes 3 trys to get it to start from the app.
All the other functions like service issues dont work at all. It does not infom the user when oil changes are due. Un able to set up a service call from the app.
And if you install the app on a second phone nothing works.
Its now 2020 and to have an app that works this poorly is un excusable. Sat with my service manager in the service bay for over an hour.
He was un able to get it to work any better even with tech support on the other line. Did Software up dates re booted the car system, re loaded the new UVO software NOTHING WORKED.
This needs to be resolved its been this way from day one and no one at the dealership has been able to fix it because its app itself that is so poorly executed.
Will now see what KIA will do to resolve this issue.
I make my payments ever month. Had this car and this issue from day one.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
