Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. After we had the interview,i finally got someone two days after to speak with and they stated my refund was ready to be issued..I received them by FedEx. last Friday.Thank you...I did send a email statement to your company then...I haven't cash the checks as yet hopefully there will be no problems with them as I'm out of town.

Gap insurance paid kia and i was to receive the refund its been over 3 months now i am..Also the dealshia send kia finance my check when Kia was already paid all by my insurance and gap...now its been months and i have to be paying uber every dam day because kia wont release my cash for me to get a new ride.. This is totally inhumane and just unbelievable

Bad service

Had appointment for 11:30 today March 11, 2024 at Kia service in Myrtle Beach, SC for alignment check on our new Forte because car drifts to right if hands are hovering steering wheel. I have to apply a constant light force to keep car from drifting to another lane which gets exhausting.

We just purchase on March 2, 2024. We called for appointment and this was the earliest appointment we could get on march 11, 2024. Arrived a little before 11:30 and went to lounge to wait for our car to finish being serviced, went out to service area around 12:30 to get an update on car and it had never moved. Continued to wait for car, another hour went by and it's 1:30 now and they came and told us car was ready.

After two hours of waiting the service manager told us they took it for a ride and found nothing wrong. I got irritated at him and he told me I had an attitude, he also had an attitude back. I told him I would never be back to this Kia dealership ever to purchase a car or get service from him. I signed his paper which I never received a copy and left.

This is our second car from this dealer. Never had a problem with our 2021 Soul. Salesman we purchased car from was very nice Eddie Gilbert and I would deal with him again but not at Kia of Myrtle Beach. Will not deal with this dealership again I will go somewhere different.

Anyway our car never got the proper service and they lost a customer I probably would have bought my third car from them.

I still need car check on machine for proper alignment. Can you help me?

Myrtle Beach Dealership said they can not fix it!

I got a letter about the recall on my Kia soul. I call the dealership about my car having an oil consumption problem and my motor is taping when running.

The Kia dealership told me that it was nothing that they can do about my car until the car stops working. So I when to the dealership here in Myrtle Beach SC February 22, 2024. The gentleman at the dealership told me the only way they could fix my car if I had some type of update.When I received the letter in the mail about the recall and read it. The letter didn't say anything about an update.

Now my car is broken , and your company refuse to fix it.

So I now have to find away to let the public know about my situation. This is not fair, and going public about this on social media and to whom ever I can tell!

NO RESPONSE FROM KIA IN OVER TWO WEEKS. THEY TELL ME EVERY I CALL:”YOUR CASE MANAGER WILL CALL YOU BACK IN 24 TO 48 HOURS” BUT SHE NEVER CALLS ME BACK.

MY VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE AND I DON’T THINK THEY CARE ABOUT IT. MIGHT HAVE TO GET AN ATTORNEY INVOLVED.

On 1/26/24 my 2012 Kia Sorento caught on fire while I was driving. The vehicle is totally destroyed.

Since 1/29/24 I've been trying to reach the person assigned to my case and no one has responded. I've been trying to reach someone for over two weeks.

I've called several times each day to no avail. I have emailed everyone from the CEO to the janitor and everyone in between and no one responds.

I got my car inspected before I go to my duty station all the way in Georgia and I got my car looked at and "fixed" in Shiloh, Illinois. The cap was loose on my fuel, and it needed to be tightened they said, so I was like okay let's get this fixed because I got a 12-hour drive.

It cost a pretty penny but needed to be done. And reminder this was done 5 days before I left. I started my drive and I almost made it until the engine light comes on, and the car starts shaking. I stopped for safety because my child is in the car and couldn't make the 3 hours left that I had.

I stayed in a hotel and went to a Kia place here in McDonough Georgia. I told them what happened And said my car was inspected and I was told everything was "fixed" they said they can't help me and to go somewhere else. I was in disbelief. But I needed to get this fixed so I can get to my duty station.

I went to Meineke in McDonough Georgia. They did a diagnostic and found out that the cap was loosened on the fuel cap and fuel got on the spark plugs and ruined them, and I needed to get a new fuel cap, a fuel pump and new spark plugs. In originally, I went to Kia to get it fixed for this not to happen, and it did.

Put my family at risk, late to my duty station, and waste of money. Going to make sure something is done about this problem.

Paid 50K in 2019 for a Sorento sxl. Had engine seize and tailgate malfunction and all wheel drive malfunction to the amount of over $ 19,000.00 USD. Even an employee at KIA service advised me to dump car. KIA corporate will not fix these items even though they should last more than 4 years. Note: KIA did replace engine but I paid for damaged wire harness due to install and labor. Gate and all wheel dive still don't work. Please DO NOT BUY A KILLED IN ACTION CAR, your better off buying 2 American made vehicles. Think about the name KIA and what it stands for. KILLED IN ACTION.

Kia replaced cat but engine went into "limp mode" after recall was performed.

KIA Ft.Collins Colorado refused to preform recalls due to knocking of engine.

Grand KIA in Thornton performed recalls but now wont replace engine free of charge as promised per recall letter.

My car is also apart of the MPG class action settlement. Its been 10 plus years since KIA has reimbursed me. Customer care makes this all impossible.

I've contacted the BBB and National Highway Traffic Administration in Washington DC

This case is also being watched by the radio show Tom Martino via Deputy Chopper

This is my attempt to contact KIA again to correct the recalls on my car ie get a new engine that is promised and my MPG claim

I would prefer this communication be kept via emails only so all is in writing

I Took my 2020 Kia in due to steering issues and gave them permission to drive it to figure out what was wrong with it if that was all that was wrong with it. The mechanic that worked on my vehicle drove my vehicle well over us out well over 1000 miles..

He drove from the East Coast from Daytona Beach to the west coast of Porta Gorda on the West Coast so I find that very unacceptable. and the dealership that did it only wants to pay for the tickets. He received in my car while he was driving it. He ran six tolls on the toll road.

We received a letter from F DOT, that the tolls were not paid and that if we didnt pay them, we would lose our license, I went through the expense of renting a car for a week and the extra mileage on my car driving it as far as he drove it.

Im very dissatisfied with the Kia dealer in Daytona Beach. I will not recommend them for anyone to purchase a vehicle.

I bought a Kia Stonic sport in April last year it has only done just under 5000 km then 6 weeks ago now it lit up like a Christmas tree and nothing worked right all the lights on the board lit up it beeps at me all the time lane keeping assist does not work nor does for collision the car has gone haywire I have had in the workshop 3 times to fix this they have no idea what is wrong with it so they now want me to wait until 21 march so they can have yet another go at trying to fix this I want a replacement car this car is lemon

Oct 15 2023 our 2023 Kia Seltos suddenly caught fire with the engine turned off. We were in a rural area so we had no choice but to use fire extinquishers to put out the fire or the fire may have caused damage to our RV and the local woods.

We were on vacation, my husband is 81 years old. We had no idea about the Kia fire issues. The fire was on a Sunday, we had driven 17 miles to a restaurant, spent about 3 hours there and drove back. We pulled up the gravel drive on the property, shut the vehicle off and smoke started billowing out from under the hood.

We contacted Kia Customer Service first thing Monday morning. We filed a detailed claim and were informed that they would be expediting the claim and we were not to move the vehicle or have anyone touch it until Kia had someone come out. We contacted our insurance company NJM next. They immediately set us up with a rental in Tallahasse Kia offered nothing.

Every day we contacted Kia to check on the status, no info. NJM had an adjuster out 3 days after the fire. Photos were taken and car examined. We continued to contact Kia, notes were added to our claim.

Meanwhile our insurance covers $30 a day for a rental, the balance falls on us. We still wait for Kia, nothing. We are in limbo, we are 1100 miles from home, no answers, the vehicle is sitting, with the hood slightly open, we were afraid it would reopen if we shut it. After about 10 days we are finally informed that our claim has been assigned to a Kia adjuster name Freddie, when I ask for a number they connnect me to his voice mail, still no response.

Finally after 2 weeks we get a call back after at least 4 messages left. We then have to inform Freddie where the nearest dealership is and inform him they do not have a flat bed. Freddie tells we can have the vehicle moved to the Kia in Tallahassee, he will contact them to let them know its coming in, but we have to contact our AAA to have it towed there. After anothe 4 days and more photos on their end.

We have to again contact Freddie to get answers. They have determined that there was evidence of rodent nesting material that came in contact with the exhaust. Thats it, they will email me a determination letter but will not send copies of their photos showing the nesting material. The vehicle sat for TWO WEEKS before anyone did anything on KIA's end.

When we first filed the claim they could have had us move it to the nearest dealership. We suffered 2 weeks of mental torture waiting for some one to get back to us. Our vehicle, prior to the fire, did not sit for more than a day or two. NJM adjuster found no nesting material 3 days after the fire.

We had to have a rental for almost 40 days and had to arrange for a vehicle to get us back to NJ, that resulted in $1200 out of our pockets. We still had to make payments on our lease during this time, waiting for Kia to make a decision on the fire and I am not happy or satisfied with their outcome. You have no idea what it is like to watch your 81 year old husband trying to put our a fire in your car that is just a year old. We loved the car.

We are not the sort of people who sue or file claims for anything. This whole experience has been a total nightmare. I have never been so disappointed in a company, Customer service reps were great. Fredi Mendez the adjuster from Kia was totally incompetent.

We gave him information, he should have been apologizing for the delay in reaching out to us. No solid proof to back up his determination. Bottom line Kia vehicles are having issues with fires, our vehicle may not have had any recalls but this was not a fire caused by nesting material. I feel that Kia owes us something, out of courtesy.

NJM was the one who deemed the car a total loss, they took care of the lease and everything is closed and done. Our original claim number was #1591**** filed on 10/16/23. I am totally disappointed in Kia, I will never recommend a Kia to anyone. The way our situation was ignored and dragged out by Corporate was a disgrace.

My husband could have suffered severe burns trying to put out the fire...the nearest fire station was 20 miles away. I ams still not sure whether or not we are going to pursue this situation legally but I just wanted to let Kia know how messed up their Corporate reps are.

The least they could have done was provided us a vehicle, not have us pay out of pocket for a fire that I know was due to their mechanical failures. Nancy Balaz

I purchased a vehicle September the 12th by September the 15th my car was giving me so many issues decided to take the dealership to court only to find out there was multiple recalls on my vehicle when trying to talk with Kia consumer affairs they treat you as if your situation doesn't matter, and you're just one more of many that just has an issue with all of their mistakes I have been lied to I have been promised replacement vehicles only to continue suffering emotionally mentally financially and physically.My case is now in the escalations department where my case manager won't even call or do the proper steps that he should be doing, but yet I've been mocked made fun of and had the telephone hung up on me numerous of times.I have been told pretty much that yes those are their mistakes and that's just what people do we make mistakes. It has never been mentioned the part that a lot of us have to own up to our mistakes and make them right . I was basically told that my car was not recall related may not have been under the newest recall but as you can see down below the diagnostics of my vehicle is a recall related issue.

11/30/23 My 2017 Kia Sorento stopped on me in the middle of traffic. I had it towed to Aamco same day and the said the engine was gone. $8k estimate. I towed to Kia Citrus for a 2nd opinion on 12/7/23, 3 weeks later they said blown engine $10k estimate. They wont cover repairs due to lack of maintenance. My car fax and inspections show maintenance was done. I dont want to join a class action suit. I need my car. My husbands 74 and disabled and I need a car. Can you help?

Customer has experienced significant loss. Those being emotional and monetary due to high negligence of the manufacturer of Kia. During multiple conversations with Kia consumer affairs I was told that my car would be replaced due to the fact that there is no remedy or solution for my vehicle my vehicle was also under diagnosed and resolved basically off a half diagnostic I have been really talked to I have been going through so many emotional changes and I am still without a vehicle basically I'm being told so what about their negligences and mistakes I have to deal with it my vehicle has several issues on it and has had several recalls on it I don't feel safe and I no longer want the vehicle and I do not want to wait forever for a remedy or solution for my car that could possibly catch a fire my main issue is I was told that I wouldn't have to only to be told disregard what their customer representative told she made a mistake which is also their negligence again

They did give me a new 14K engine. I still need 5K in repairs. All of this on a 5 year old 50K car.

2018 purchased KIA Sportage and Sorento. 2018 purchase anothe Sorento SXL for 48 00 USD.

At 1003K mile engine on SXL seized, KIA honored waranty and replced engine. The wire harness needed replaced due to engine install $1,400 USD, the tailgate needs motors $ 1,700 USD, the all wheel drive light stays on. I reached out again to KIA and was advised Im resposible. The best car KUA sold in 2018/2019 has needed over $ 18,000 USD repairs.

It is the worst vehicle Iv ever owned.
Due to lack of concern over KIA' s customer satisfaction. I will NEVER purchase another piece of crap KIA. My family, friends, employees have been advised to NEVER supprt KIA again, when I hire new employees I advise them to boycott KIA or work elswhere. I am oy one simple American buyer living in a small coal minning town in Utah, USA, but I have made it my mission to spread the fact that KIA' concern for customer retention absoulutly sucks.

Buy American is what my father and grandfather said, I understand why. Parts for KIA are hard to get, expensive, and did I mention customer care SUCKS? I realize thete are cars that break down and buyers must fix them and maintain them. But $ 19,000.00 USD in 4 years on a $ 50,000.00 car...PURE CRAP.

An American manufacturer would feel bad and fix the car, but not KIA.
