Visiting daughter on LBI from NY. MIL warning light illuminated on my 2017 Cadenza...stopped and asked if it could be checked. Told their schedule was full and should consider staying overnight. Not doable as "ice bomb" was forecast and hit the next day.
Asked for consideration as I was 2 hours away from home and was concerned about breaking down with freezing temperatures. Was told they could not accommodate me that day. Traveling with my wife, we are both 76 years of age. I am a 100% service connected disabled Vietnam veteran and hoped consideration would be given being out of town coupled with our age and the weather conditions- forecast.
This is my 5th KIA (2 Cadenzas, an Optima, Sorento & Sportage) going back 10+years.
Each has been serviced professionaly with pride. Thought should be given to having Bryan Scherlin, Manahawkin KIA's Service Manager attend a course for serving its customers.
