Warranty on my vehicle

Only took one hour on hold and finally hung up and called the next morning early and you answered after 20 minutes. USA Kia no help and ridiculous that USA does not have warranty on Canadian telluride. Called Canada they answered right away and was so helpful. They said our Kia Telluride is under warranty and when we go to dealer with a problem have them call Kia Canada. Sad USA did not have this information. Very impressed with Canada customer service

Engine failure

Kia Motors - Engine failure

I NEVER LISTED MY CONCERN AS A PISSED CUSTOMER. I purchased a new/used certified pre-owned 2018 Optima in March 2020.

Less than 30 days of having the vehicle, I had to have it towed because of an engine issue. I have experienced my power steering failing as well as my vehicle shutting down while physically driving. Currently, my vehicle is inoperable due to another issue with the engine. I do NOT feel safe in that vehicle; I am also extremely disappointed with the car as well as services I have received.

It has been a little over a year that I have owned the Kia Optima and I would like a reliable and safe car.

My safety is priority as well as the safety of my passengers and others on the road. Please assist and also be aware of what your purchasing.

Car under Warrenty

Driving along and got no power. Took it in to get checked. Told us it needed a new engine. It is under warenty but they say it was leaking oil and wants me to get all my bills for the last 4 years on oil changes. What does that have to do with an oil leak that we did not know about. This is not something that is a four year old leak or the car would have broken down long ago. I am a senior and never thought about keeping bills for oil changes. Now they dont want to fix it. I cant remember where we went to get our oil changed only this last year.

Preferred solution: I would like them to fix my car as it was uner warrenty and I did not know we had a leak. There is no oil on our driveway and when taking it in the last 2 times no one mentioned a leak to us.

I have been waiting SIX months for my 22 Vehicle

Today I received an email for the "All New 2023 Kia Niro"

...and I am very frustrated because in good faith I ordered a 2022 Kia Niro Plug in Hybrid EX Premium in Runway Red on January 19, 2022 from a Kia Dealer here in North Texas,=.

Over six months (184 days as of this writing) have passed with absolutely no news about the vehicle, despite constant inquiries, offers to make deposits to expedite the process and other requests for updates and information.

The salesman/contact at the dealership I am working with tells me they have no information from Corporate about it, and "we" are at their mercy.

This is beyond confusing and frustrating, especially with your email arriving today now trying to sell me a '23 after I ordered a '22 six months ago.

What happened to that order? How many months will I have to wait?

Do I have to start over? Will it be another 6 months?

The Kia marketing people (and the factory) need to seriously rethink their strategy.

I do understand the factories make the cars and the dealers sell them.

If I have been told the truth by the dealer, you as a company are seriously harming your Brand Image with me and tainting your dealer's reputation, as well.

What makes this even more insane is I see television commercials for these

non-existent vehicles on a daily basis.

If someone would like to speak to me in person about this situation, I would be happy to listen.

How can I get my refund?

I purchased a 2018 Kia Optima ES with 73k and already it needs an exhaust manifold system. Highway robbery. Dealership in Myrtle Beach made me wait 6 weeks for an appointment and most likely made it worse. Really!

Need escalation support for my lemon Kia EV ASAP

I have waited on hold for over three hours for three consecutive days with no followup contact or email. Manufacturer is responsible for replacing my EV battery unit after failed healthy. They refuse to adequately compensate for a rental car. They offer $40/day when the average cost is $70! I will not pay for a rental car plus my car loan and not have use of my own vehicle I purchased. I want my car replaced ASAP. I have contact NHTS and reported unsafe car. It stalls on highway with complete power failure with my kids in car. Dealer diagnostics reduced my battery range from 47mi to 27mi and required the vehicle for 8 hours now requested my vehicle back and will not provide a loaner vehicle. Case: 1496****

I own a 2016 Kia Sportage - I purchased almost 4 years ago, through Jim Butler Kia out of Chesterfield, Missouri. My engine blew - back in September. I had no idea there was a recall, until the gentleman at the auto body shop told me to get in contact with KIA due a recall on the engine for this exact problem. Keep in mind I paid $200.00, for him to pull my Kia apart JUST to tell me what he already knew when he started it up - but i needed to show what was wrong with it for sure - WOW!! Okay - that hurt!! Now, I have called KIA Corporate, Jim Butler Kia, I called a law firm that just settled a lawsuit with KIA. That I could not participate in - Due to a (Timing issue) I had to be signed up by August. My engine blew right around mid September 2021. I am besides myself.... As you may not care about this or maybe even more so annoyed of the overwhelming emails- That I quite positive that you are receiving. Please, understand...I have went through every avenue to have someone take care of my engine due to a recall issued by "KIA" Only to hear the following: We are sorry... it is not our fault you never received the recall notice, tell me how many miles are on the vehicle. MY Response a little over 60,000 miles (2016 KIA Sportage). I am sorry again, Brandie.. Now, we wont pay since your mileage exceeds your extended warranty. WHAT??... When does an extended warranty come into play when it is a Nationwide Engine RECALL for my exact motor for the exact reason of the recall??? Really?!!! This should be very simple. But, no, no it is not. But do you know, who is left to figure it out - Me... I am left to figure out how to continue pay my loan for a car that cannot be driven which I am unable to get to work, take my girls to school/activities *** I cant even go to the grocery store. I am a single mother of 2 Amazing Girls. I don't come from money - I have worked extremely hard to get where I am today!! I have no family here - I have zero help. My Kia was almost paid off around $6K - To have it parked in my apartment parking lot &;;;;;;;;amp;;;;;;;;;; she is such a pretty car!! I'm anxious that it could possibly get repossessed!! Since, I had to finally purchase a used car!!?!! I am in financial rears due to all of this!! My checking went from being 1000% good to being overdrawn every pay period. Do you know or could even understand how that feels?? I have not been able to make my payment on my KIA, now going on the 2nd month!! I refuse to let my car get repossessed - So, I have requested a loan from my 401K!!! Inevitably hurting my self financially again!! Which was only $4700 but that was the absolute most I was able to take out !! Just to pay it off!! Now the bank that financed my KIA wont even accept that amount because of the late fees!! Dealerships wont trade it inn due to the blown engine & I am not taking $500 for it when it was $13K (Kelly Blue Book) prior to the blown engine. KIA refuses to help me, I can barley even finishing typing this email - I cant even stop crying, this is probably worthless!! I'm Good Person - Hard Worker -an a Amazing Mom - We don't have a lot - but I am a strong!! I will fight for what I know & believe to be right!! How does KIA get take advantage of me & my girls? Values... A term that KIA - Has, had ever will!! Thank You - Hands Down. Forget about me my family or people like us the hard workers - The ones that actually care. KIA you have Mentally, Financially & Physically broken me... I never ask for hand outs, I literally always roll with the punches!! This is trukly wrong!! I did my part - where is KIA's? My children depend on me. I need someone to fix what was already broken to begin with.
