I called Kia of Lansing Michigan to schedule a repair on my Sportage. I scheduled an appointment and asked about a loaner car.
They informed me that they do not have loaner cars. I called back to cancel the appointment. I live an hour away from Lansing and need a vehicle to get back home. They said my car would be in the shop a couple of days.
The girl I was talking to that schedules the appointments for the service department was unwilling to help. I asked how long it would take to diagnose the issue. She said about half a day. I told her that my husband knew what the problem was but she said it had to be diagnosed.
My husband said forget it and the service girl said " fine then, fix it yourself" and hung up on me. She was so rude.
I've never been treated that way from this dealership. But I know, I'll never buy another Kia.

I have been waiting on the district manager to call me, I have not heard from anyone..
I called the same day to be told someone would call me back and they never did. I called the next day to be told a manager wasnt in bc it was the weekend. I called back on Monday and left a message and finally received an email from the manager. He stated he would call me back and he never did.
He ended up emailing me stating he looked on the cameras and my car didnt have a dent when it came in for service and it didnt have a dent when it left, he offered to let me view the images. I informed him I also have 6 surveillance cameras around my house and checked them as well, and that I would indeed like to view kias images, I have emailed and called the manager several times after that and he will not call me back, wont respond to my emails. I am a Loyal customer as I have purchased 4 kias from this location. My car is in immaculate condition and I know for sure that dent was not in my car until I brought it to Kia.
They keep giving me the run around and not responding to me, I am thinking about hiring an attorney due to this matter. This particular location has had several complains and bad reviews with customers staying their cars have been scratched and dented after bringing their cars here.

I have been trying to get in contact with the finance team in Council Bluff IA for TWO months. I have call 14 times, each time being told to leave a message.
I really do not want to drive down across state lines to speak to someone.
We have a balance showing from 5 years ago, a lease that was paid off. Not only was that lease paid off but we purchased a second lease with this branch and also paid that lease off since then. This balance just showed up on our credit report this year.
We did not receive ANY mail nor any phone call around this balance.
We get calls monthly looking for a new vehicle but yet when I answer and bring this up they says they are not in finance but can send over a message. A complete JOKE.
I have called the customer service number given online and been on hold for over 29 minutes and once over 47 minutes.
There needs to be another way to resolve this issue.

Already buying tires which the front tires that were on the vehicle were not the right size I have had to get the boot replaced, tires replaced, front /rear brakes and rotors plus shocks , inner outer toe rods which I can not get at this point because I am out of money for repairs this car should have never been sold off the lot Kia of Stockton does bad business deals and takes advantage of people several people I have spoke to have had same issues with their vehicles purchases from there Im going to let the vehicle go and Im not worried about my credit at this point Im tapped out with this lemon

Yesterday i cantact the dealer ask for a price, i agreed with term and because i was busy at work i asked my wife to go alone and finish the paperwork, she went and they force her to sign a complete different deal and they ask for mor money for different things that i already spoke with them . Long story short i called them and they said sorry please came back tomorrow we will fix everything and we will refund the money.
My wife today went again alone the person in the office told her we will cancel the free oil change . My wife told them but yesterday the other seller td me you have free oil change. Those people even they didnt tell her there is a plan that you will pay for it so they give you a free oil change so she didnt know on the first part they scam here they sell and get signatures without explaining what is that and that time she complained another sall person went to the office and they start talking bad and rud with her to scare her she start fighting back and those people start make fun of her because she is woman, she told one off them if my husband was here you wouldnt talk to me like this . They told here you are the first woman we saw like this my wife get offended than she told them im your customer you guys must make me happy not do this and they make fun of her and spoke very bad to her she came back home and she was crying for badly.
I will get consultation from my lawyer to do legal action. In this country we dont attack and harass a woman that those not know she gering scam from sells man.

This is the 10th time Ive brought my vehicle in at least its just constant problems. My biggest regret is buying it. I traded in my beautiful jeep to get ripped off.& not given my 9000 dollars in rebates then told theres no 100,000 thousand mile warranty anymore a total lie & had to purchase a secondary warranty I got taken advantage of so bad its ridiculous during Covid and then on top of that have had nothing but issues and dont even have 60,000 miles on this vehicle I swear I am going to be Kia worst enemy if you do not step up & take care of me Im done complaining about this vehicle Im asking you please be honorable & take care of ur customer ( me) I over paid for this vehicle & deserve a decent car to drive with out issues sincerely

Im writing you to make you aware of my recent Jan 20,2024 experience with your Rosenberg, Texas Kia service department. I brought my 2020 Kia Soul in for service because it would turn off when I applied the brakes.
The service rep that assisted me said his name was Miguel. When dropping off the vehicle Miguel stated that he would test the battery and share the diagnostic report at time of pickup. Miguel also stated he would run a diagnostic test on engine and the cost would be $165. Approximately 2 hours later Miguel called me and stated it was the cam shaft that was causing the vehicle to turn off when braking.
He then stated he would do a four can oil lubrication to all the components of the vehicle that included the cam shaft. He then stated if the engine light came back on the vehicle would need a new engine. I immediately questioned this information! When me and my husband went to pickup my vehicle my husband requested to see the battery report test.
Miguel stated the battery was good but did not have the battery test report. My husband then asked him for the diagnostic report showing the cam shaft as an indicator and Miguel could not produce that report either. When my husband questioned why he could not produce the reports, Miguel stated its Kia policy not to print out diagnostic reports for customers. Is this true?
My husband further questioned that policy since the cost of the report was $165. Since getting a report was against policy, my husband then asked to speak to the technician who ran the test. When Miguel started questioning him he seemed very confused and did not know what to say as I stood there observing. Then I asked him to run the diagnosis test in my presence and he attempted several times and the equipment was not working.
I then proceeded to tell Miguel that I believed nothing was done to my vehicle and I was going to report this to corporate, Miguels dishonesty, poor level of customer service, and unprofessionalism.
Im requesting my concerns and experience to be taken seriously and Miguels behavior and practice to be addressed appropriately. I dont feel like this was personal and Im concerned that other customers had similar experiences and did not have the time to write in.
Lastly, please let me know how Kia can compensate me for time wasted and poor level of customer care.
