After dealing with Kia and Mike Murphy in Brunswick, Ga for three weeks, and after the broken promises, pressures to put down more money, help us help you help us help you (Oliver) and give me a week give me a week i went to Toyota in Brunswick. That place is awesome. They asked what I wanted, what color and did I have money to put down. They did the numbers and in no time i was test driving my new car. I bought that car and then my mom traded her car and got one also. This was the best car buying experience we have ever had. The coffee was better, the building was a pleasure to visit and in 5 hrs. we both had a new car. We dropped the Soul EV off at Mike Murphy's and we will not be back. Details
Kia charged my car. It showed 100 percent, 77 miles. The mileage has gone from 106 to as little as 74. Not what i was promised. The service mgr called kia to report the low mileage. Kia said thats what its suppose to get. Not what the sticker saids im suppose to get. The dealership said nothing they could do. Its up to kia. Apparently kia doesnt back the product they sell.

Have had a Kia Soul EV for three weeks. It has never charged to the full mileage that was promised. The have dragged this out for 3 weeks. Now they are saying its charging the way it's suppose to. I'm not even getting 80 miles to a charge. Kia is not standing behind this product. This car is a lemon and Kia doesn't care

Kia Motors in Denver, Colorado - Kia instrument cluster issue

Have a 2011 Kia sportage purchased from Grand Kia in Denver which was our second new Kia in 3 weeks. Have taken it in for service every time its needed to a dealer. Now the instrument cluster has gone out and its over the 60,000 mile warranty but within the 5 years and Kia isn't going to help me in any way with the $1300 cost for a new instrument cluster. I feel cheated since we owned 2 kia's and the mechanics say they have seen this issue with other sportages. I called the customer care line and was treated rudely by the first guy I spoke with. Not the experience I was hoping for when trying to get Kia to help with an obvious issue. I can promise I will not be purchasing another Kia since they don't stand up to warranties or care enough for customers that have purchased more than one Kia.

Actual email sent to business: "We purchased a vehicle though Jack Miller Kia for the customer service an assurance that this was going to be handled with ease. This is not the case. As you are aware, the original docs were sent back on December 24th due to a misspelling of my name name. On December 29th, it was confirmed that the docs were received and a new pink slip was going to be sent out and received within 10 days. This is also not the case. A call was placed to Tom on January 12th in regards to this situation. Within that exchange, you (Greg) was brought in to confirm that the docs were updated and correct and the edited documents (pink slip) were going to be sent. Within the same exchange on January 12th, I notified Tom that the temporary plates were going to expire on January 14th and he stated that the "goal" is to have the plates and/or a new temp ready by january 14th. This was also not that case. I received a call from Tom on Thursday, January 14th stating that the docs a Sales Tax refund check were going to be sent to and received on Friday, January 15th. The docs were received with the sales tax refund as well as a few other documents. Included in the documents were the registration docs for us to register the vehicle. Again, these weren't the original terms and it's completely unacceptable at this point. I contacted the dealership on Saturday, January 16th and was informed that you were off so I connected with Alford and explained the situation. He was apologetic and explained that Jack Miller Kia has not dealt with a lot of out of state purchases before and that is where the confusion/hold up may be. As a dealer (lease or not), you are responsible for tax, title and registration. Not to send the documents for us to handle it ourselves. At that point, Alford stated for us to send back these documents so that Jack Miller Kia can register the vehicle. Alford also stated that he would relay my email address so you can email me exactly what happened and the next steps. An email wasn't sent either. Therefore, we are ready to send back those documents. Also, we requested an explanation in writing (email is fine) in regards to what happened, process moving forward and a confirmation of this email." (End email sent) After a few additional email exchanges, we decided that we want to send the paperwork back and Greg stated it could take 3 weeks for the registration to be complete. I asked about a new temporary plate and he stated that he could not provide one. Obviously, we've been very patient and understanding up to this point. In the end, Greg refused any further email communication and stated via phone (verbatim) "I am done with the emails. We (Jack Miller Kia) have done everything we could to get the situation rectified as quickly as possible. At this point, I have expired plates and can't drive anywhere because for their incompetence and sub par service.

I no longer want any association with Jack Miller Kia. Since I am paying for something I can't utilize, they can come pick up this vehicle.

(00216)92 24 14 24 Mail: elhosni.abbes@gmail.com C ID Number: KNADN411AE6282154 Looking on many advertisements on Kia cars, and the 5 years guarantee proposed (or 100,000 km), I thought that Kia Motors is a very serious company. 01 January 2016 The best gift of the New year 2016: the car did not start! I carried the car to KIA Motors Djerba-Tunisia after calling and informing them of the situation where the hole maintenance and inspection has been performed. After diagnostics, a report was sent to KIA dealer in Tunis-Tunisia but no respond. According to KIA dealer Djerba / Tunisia we need to change the cylinder head. A MANUFACTURING issue resulted a mechanical failure. After that, the KIA MOTORS Djerba-Tunisia sent a first, a second and a third reminder but nothing, and all these reports to explain that the issue is Industrial and not a bad driving way. Although, the car was economically used ( around 5.2L and 6.9L). It is Monday January 18, 2016 and nothing has been decided. The car is 2 years 04 months Aged and has a total of 37000 km! So if I may please ask your Honor to take action in order to find a solution to my issue with the KIA Motors Headquarters in Tunisia so that they fix my car. I have bought six kia's in the last few years and I have been extremely pleased with the vehicles. However, your warranties are not at all what they are cracked up to be. In fact, they are extremely misleading. When I bought my kia soul in 2012, the salesperson told me that everything was covered for 100,000 miles. Just recently, with 79,000 miles on my car, I bought my car in for a new starter and was told that it was not covered because it was electrical ( I was not told this when I bought it). I am inclined to take my business elsewhere for a new car which I will probably be buying at 100,000 miles (I drive 102 miles to and from work every day). This experience was most upsetting because I feel, as a woman, that I was cheated, so I won't be buying a kia again and neither will my sister or my friends who have experienced similar problems I had. As a consumer, and a hard working one at that, I find it extremely distasteful from a company which is apparently highly respected; I think you can do better for your customers.

Kia Motors - Car Review from Cottage Grove, Oregon

We have a 2014 kia it has been parked under a carport for most of the lasr year. The paint is starting to peal in sveral places. The reginal manager out of ca. Came and looked at it. He told us he would take care of the peeling of the paint. We took the car to kias body shop and they gave a quoate to fix it. We also got 2 other quoares all a little over $1200. They have since told us they would pat up to $400., a far cry from tixing the problem. We have been screwed around for the last couple of months. Nothing has been done. Calls are not returned, and the car is getting worse. Kis is saying its bird ***, we had another vehicle parked within 30 feet of the kis and it has no problem with the paint. The car has only 26000 miles on it still within the warranty. Does anyone know our next move.
