Kia Motors complaint
the service department would not stand behind there warrety because of the oil change service was done by me and not by a oil change service when the cam shaft in my 2004 kia rio locked up

the car only had 40,000 miles on it. told the dealership at the time when i bought the car that i did all of my own service work and was told that was fine with them i was not told by anyone that i had to take the car to someone else to have the oil changed .so this car warrenty *** big time all they want is more & more money.***.

Did you read the manual? The law of the land, in most US States, anyway, says that a written warranty supercedes any other claims.
