Do you know what simple interstate means? With simple intrest you could double a car payment one month and never pay intrest again as long a you made the set payment every month after. Oh and #1 commentator, who would be dumb enought not to ask for a certified payment? Personal Checks can bounce a cashiers check can't. |

4. Written by Shaver Sucks on September 3, 2008 from glendale, california, US These guys are shady. I went to purchase the one at this price car. We are talking 11,999.00 for an Optima. I said yes to the purchase and financing. I have excellent credit. On a 7 year loan the payments were $350.00 a month. You do the math. I left saying they were a joke. The next day I get a call from a salesman who apologizes. He says they charged me 19% interest for some reason. I went back down and they switched cars on me. I received a lessor model but was told it was the same. When we went to fill out the contract they had the price at $13,000. I should have left then. I also noticed they did not have my trade-in listed. He apologized and put the trade in on. Funny thing, my payments did not go down nor was the loan shortened. I will NEVER do business with Shaver. They are crooked. I was warned by my local Kia dealer that Shaver was not on the up and up and I thought he was just upset I was taking my business elsewhere.
5. Written by Charlie on August 3, 2008 from los angeles, california, US Low prices and good service don't come together. Ever been to Walmart? Pay more next time and I am sure that the dealer will love you up!
6. Written by Dave on July 16, 2008 from los angeles, california, US Wow I sense a lot of hostility From Employee. In fact i would say that conflicts between buyers and dealers is just a common thing, however calling the customer *** does not sound like good customer relations. That response in it self will drive potential customers away.
7. Written by employee on June 22, 2008 from san bernardino, california, US i work at said dealer and in our advertisment it clearly states tha the only acceptable form of payment is cash, cashiers check, or seller(shaver kia) assisted finance. We sell our advertised cars at least $5,000 under sticker most of the time and sometimes even less. so what if you were getting a 12% rate, are you too *** to realize what simple interest is? ever heard about refinancing through your lender later?
8. Written by Eric Christiansen on June 9, 2008 from los angeles, california, US They called me in on the tenth day after I had the car and tried to make me sign a new contract or they would take the car back. I told them I would rather give them the car as it already has 800 miles on it (I have a long work commute). They said they would try to contact the bank and get my 5.29 percent back instead of the 8.99% they tried to switch it for. Never called me back but when I called them they say it worked out. Funny thing is on the contract it says that they cannot change the financing and that it is an immoral and illegal practice and the DMV or DA should be notified. I brought the car in today to get a paint chipped fixed. It was my third visit due to poor communication and in the hour that they were trying to figure out if it should be free as per the salesman the paint guy left and a service guy stole my iPod and cell phone charger. They are compensating me with a check for that and fired the service guy. I must say that I liked the salesman and the managers but the finance guys and others there are very shady. Be aware.
9. Written by Pissed in PS on May 8, 2008 from -, -, US After dealing with a pathetic dealership who delivered my Sportage to me with the TPMS light on, a $7 car wash, fuel light on, and here's the kicker...didn't even contact my lender for the correct payoff amount, I now have to come up with the difference. I vow to NEVER, EVER buy another Kia. Shaver Kia does not call their customers back, and even Kia Motors of America makes it difficult to resolve issues with the dealership. Kia Motors of America will point the finger to Kia Financial, and Kia Financial points the finger back at Kia Motors. Anyone interested in Kia, I would say stick to a manufacturer who has EARNED their good reputation.
10. Written by MIKE on April 8, 2008 from warrenton, virginia, US ONE AT THIS PRICE MEANS ONE AT THIS PRICE......HOW CAN IT BE THE DEALERS FAULT IF YOU WANT TO PAY CASH OR BY CASHIERS CHECK. THEY SHOULD REQUIRE CERTIFIED FUNDS. I DONT THINK IT IS THE DEALERS RESPONSIBLITY TO GET YOU A LOAN? YOU NEED SOMETHING ELSE TO DO IF THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT!!
